The San Jose Taco Festival of Innovation is proud to announce the Metal Gourmet Taco Grand Champion — KoJa Kitchen! The inventive Japanese/Korean hybrid taco took first place at the inaugural event with judging provided by Geo Belaski of Azucar Restaurant, Bud Rogers of competition sponsor Metal Gourmet, and Eduardo Franco of Consuelo Restaurant. For their achievement, they will receive a $1,000 cash prize and a one year membership to YoYo Text ($1200 value). Congratulations to first runner up Soulnese and second runner up Triple Dash Three for rounding out the winners podium.

It’s called the San Jose Taco Festival of Innovation for a reason. We are launching a taco into space at History Park and you can track the “Spirit of San Jose” on this page!
Set under the historic Light Tower, the day’s entertainment will be highlighted by inventive Bay Area musicians. DJ Ace of Specialist Music Group will be providing music between each set.
